Are you in the mood for exercise? Maybe it depends on what type of exercise. This is Judy Gaman and this is your Stay Young Medical Minute. Tailoring your workout to your mood or you mental needs may be the trick to sticking with it. If you’re feeling angry or have pent up frustration, sign up for a kickboxing class and kick your way to a happier you. If you’ve been feeling lonely, join the Zumba party and start dancing and making friends – the best part about this dance party is everyone is sober! Now, if your job stress is getting to you, take time to refocus by going to yoga class. And if you’re like me, your moods change so don’t be afraid to mix up your exercise routine. Whatever you do, just chose something, because nothing works better on mood than exercise does.
