It's all too easy to get caught up in convenience when it comes to kids snacks. The manufactures know that flashy packaging on the outside and added salt and sugar on the inside is what sells. Save your children from the pitfalls of poor health by training their pellets while they are young. Healthy snacks include fruit, especially berries, yogurt, applesauce, fig bars, and raw  veggies. Have these things readily available but also control the portion sizes. Children do not need the same serving size as adults so adjust accordingly. Give the gift of health to your kids--it's the gift that keeps on giving, long after you're gone.
