As women, we need to be very much aware of our bodies. Paying attention to symptoms could save our life. For example, do you know the symptoms of ovarian cancer? If you're like most women, you don't. Some of the first signs of this type of cancer can be a change in bowel habits or lower back pain. Feeling full or bloated can also be a symptom. Some women don't have any symptoms at all. That's why a yearly physical exam is so important. Early detection is critical to the chances for a positive outcome. Be sure to have your exams and see the doctor right away if you have unusual symptoms or notice changes. Listening to your body could ultimately save your life.
