Soy has been all the rage in quote healthy options, but soy is not as healthy as you think. Soy contains phytoestrogens which upset the thyroid and the adrenal glands. What does that mean to you? Well, for starters, weight gain and lack of energy. If you spend your day eating veggie burgers, drinking soy milk, or even eating so called energy bars that contain soy, you may be doing more harm than good. A healthy body is a delicate balance of hormones. The high level of phytoestrogens in soy, disturb that delicate balance and can leave you feeling and looking bad, even though you thought you were doing something that is good for you. If you are a parent, read labels, kids can be highly affected by soy products, so keep them out of your house.
