Did you know that your college kid may not be covered under your regular insurance once they move out of state? Not all insurance plans cover those kiddos that are “out of area” and some plans won’t have any qualified physicians within the plan in the area your kiddo moves and resides. Do yourself AND your kid a favor and ensure that your medical insurance covers physicians in the area, and covers your kid once they move awayIf you aren't going with your school's insurance plan, make sure that your parent's or your own insurance covers doctors in your area too! It’s also important to make sure your kid gets a proper physical and vaccinations prior to going off to college---to help keep them covered once they’re out of your hands!

We want to empower you with all the health information you need! Our daily podcast is full of tips, tricks, and advice for living a long and healthy life. Judy Gaman is the author of the award winning book Age to Perfection: How to Thrive to 100, Happy, Healthy, and. Each day she brings you one new tip that will help you stay young and vibrant.
