A new study out of Stanford suggest that with a FMRI scan we can take note of some of the same chemical reactions that are found in drug seekers---making it likely that if you posses those reactions at a young age, you will develop a drug addiction (or at least risky drug seeking behaviors). Further studies need to confirm the results, but can you imagine what the future holds if we can target a drug problem BEFORE it starts?
