Here’s a fact that will make you more likely to step away from the lunch buffet a bit earlier than expected. New studies show that after eating too much, your hearing is less sharp. If you’re heading to a big meeting after a weekday lunch, or a concert or a musical after a big date night meal you may be doing yourself a disservice. Try eating a smaller meal if you need to keep your hearing pitch perfect. As for you guys that have selective hearing when it comes to your spouse, now you have a new excuse to use. But then again, eating too much is not only bad for your hearing, it’s bad for your health, and can be bad for your marriage too. It all goes back to the same old adage, all things in moderation.
