Not shocked. New study out of Georgia State University shows that people who use marijuana may be three times more likely to die from high blood pressure than non-users. High blood pressure, also called hypertension, can put you at significant risk for a stroke or heart disease. Statistics from 2014, show that high blood pressure was the main or contributing factor in more than 410,000 deaths in the U.S.
