I bet you thought that you’re better hydrated in colder weather? It makes sense…you’re sweating less so you’re able to hold more water. However, new studies suggest that the cold air and indoor heaters can actually dehydrate you MORE than a 20 minute walk…and it can severely and rapidly dry out your skin. Make sure you drink at least half your body weight number in ounces of water each day, summer and winter to keep yourself hydrated. Being properly hydrated will also help improve your skin health and ward off blemishes. Proper hydration will also improve your cognitive function and give you the energy you need to make it through the fall and winter months.
