Do you have a sweet tooth? You may be one of the lucky ones who do. Research from the University of Copenhagen The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences shows that people with a sweet tooth often have a genetic variation that leads them to have less body fat. It goes against our natural intuition, but people with gene variation of FGF21, the sweet tooth gene, have a predisposition to less body fat than others. The bad news is that these people generally have a higher risk for high blood pressure, so eating healthy is even more important for them.
