Today we are going head to toe and giving you tips on how you can protect your body as you age.

Hair – what makes it fall out and what you can do to keep it or replace it.

Brain – natural changes in the brain and how to keep it young

Eyes – start to really change at 40 due to hormones. Protect your eyes from computer, television, sun burn – glasses with UV protection, importance of eye exams and why you need to get them regularly.

Difference between an optometrist and an ophthalmologist

(Connect) Discuss changes you have each had with your eyes

(Inspire) changes as we age don’t have to be so drastic. Important to stay positive and not talk “old” talk

10- 15 percent of the population suffers from migraine, but a new study published in the journal Neurology suggests that migraines may actually change the structure of the brain by increasing the risk of brain lesions, white matter abnormalities and the amount of brain volume. People that suffer migraines with aura have an even higher risk of brain changes.
