A study, led by researchers from the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research shows that a father’s weight and nutritional habits long before they have children can affect their child’s risk of obesity and chronic disease later in life. A fascinating tid-bit about this study is that they looked at the genetic makeup of sperm in healthy weight men and overweight men and they found a significant difference. They also looked at sperm from the same men before and after weightloss and found up to 4000 structural changes. Lesson here – your children will pay for your sins folks, so take good care of your body and give your future children the best chance at a long and healthy life. – Discuss
