Okay, I’ve said it before and I will say it again—your gut microbiome affects everything!  A recent study out of University of Virginia School of Medicine suggests that a mother’s microbiome is key to the neurological development of their baby.  They have linked an UNHEALTHY gut microbiome to autism and other neurological disorders.  Crazy right?  Well, not really.  Your microbiome affects your immune system, which in turn affects the development of your unborn offspring’s immune system.  It is suggested that expectant mothers take probiotics to prevent an unhealthy microbiome.  A healthy mom equals a healthy baby.

LAST WEEKS RIDDLE WAS: You are told to empty one bottle of milk and one bottle of water into a bowl.  The two can't mix and you need to be able to separate them again.  You are not allowed to add anything else to bowl to help divide the liquids.  How do you do this?

A: You freeze the water first and then add the milk. The two can then be separated easily.

This week’s riddle:

An experienced diver can stay under water for nearly 5 minutes.  A news reporter tells him that she can stay underwater for 10 minutes without using any breathing gear.  The diver offered the woman $5,000 if she can do it.  The diver ends up having to pay her the money.  How does she do it?
