Took a closer look at the effects of a healthy diet on people who suffer from MS.  Out of the nearly 7,000 patients who were studied, those with a healthy diet were 20 percent less likely to have more severe physical disability than people with poor dietary habits. Add in other positive lifestyle attributes like not smoking and getting exercise and overall healthy lifestyle and they became 50 % less likely to have depression, 30% less likely to have severe fatigue, and more than 40% less likely to have pain.
