Prescription drug addiction is a major epidemic in our society now. Did you know that the most commonly abused prescription is opiates (like hydrocodone)? Well, prescribed opiods activate the same areas of your brain as heroin!!! That's VERY dangerous to get a habit of abusing---in fact, just abusing 1x can be fatal! Try to combat this addiction process by avoiding pain meds at the doctor, and ask what other options are available to you (like NSAIDS).
