Have you ever heard the term “love drunk?” Well, some of it is true, when in love, the human brain releases the same cocktail of neurotransmitters and hormones that are released by amphetamines! Amphetamines are some one of the most powerful drugs, and can cause lots of harm. So instead of drugs, get high on love, but remember to always love responsibly. This “drunk” feeling of love can lead to an increased heart rate, loss of appetite and sleep, and intense feelings of excitement. Be careful though, it can also lead us to make rash, dangerous, and risky decisions. So love others, but love responsibly. Make good, sound choices when you’re drunk on love because some of those decisions stick with you for life.
